zenith Z50PX2D Can't Post

hi, need to replace the YPPD-J015B on the z sus bd. are there any desoldering tools that will desolder this module. i've tried several methods to no avail. the problem is the module sits on a huge ground plane that dissipates the heat from the desoldering device. does anyone know of a tried and true method to get this module desoldered? i was thinking of the HAKKO-808 as a possible candidate. would be very intersted in any and all input. thank you. regards pete g(south florida).

This will put out more than enough heat.

Can you get at the legs of the old IC? If you can cut the legs of the old IC & then you are working with just the individual pieces of the legs. This way the IC & it's heat-sink does not dissipate any of the heat as well.
