Complete novice question Can't Post

A friend just picked up a pioneer pro-700HD projection tv and all seems well apart from what looks to me like a degausing problem on one side. With my limited knowledge, there isn't any degasiung circuit or any need to degause a projector tv.This tv did get a knock when being moved, could this of caused it?

Hey there lemming...a little more info about what the screen is showing you might be helpful in diagnosing the trouble here... the most common cause of display problems in projos involves convergence, and a bump of sufficient force certainly wouldn't be good for the set in any case. So.....gather up as much information as you can and post again..you'll be surprised and amazed how fast help will be on the way!Smile

This is true ther is no degausing curcuit in projectors but I have seen the mirror get moved or cracked in transport that causes real weird color convergance
