Hello all ,
My name is Michael , I was recently given a Panasonic PT-61LCX35 that has Red / Green / Purple spots. I removed the Light Engine and cleaned the Color Wheel along with what appeared to be a Mirror Box , after re-assembling the unit , the picture is much clearer but , unfortunately, the Color spots still remain. I called Panasonic's Tech Support and was told there is an EEPROM Correction Tool that would correct this problem. $140.00 for the Jig and $13.54 for the Service Manual. Because I dont have the original receipt they I would have to pay for the Service call. Can anyone tell me if the Firmware is loaded on the EEPROM ? If not , where I can find the Firmware ? Or do I just need this LSUQ0100 Jig ? Is the Procedure outlined in the SM ? Any advice would be appreciated.
