Mitshubishi	Can't Post

Hello to all,

I have a mitsubishu model ws-65869. It has no picture and no sound. I can hear the click when I push the on/off button. The little green light is blinking.

I tried to test the HV block by disconnecting the cable to HV block from the flyback. Then tried the on/off button. It was doing the same thing with no picture and no sound.

I have read messages from this forum and learned a little. I want to try to fix this set. Please help with any suggestion.

This set like most newer sets is trying to tell you whats wrong by the number of blinks for this set the common codes are 21 blinks= X-ray shut down. 22 blinks =short. 23 blinks = horizontal stop. 24 blinks= vertical stop. the led will blink the first number then pause and blink the second number, if it blinks a 12 this is the code for all things tested fine. most likely you will blink a 22, or 21 both could mean the convergances IC's have failed or some componet in the high voltage has failed, best take this one to the shop

Mike, Perhaps you might be able to help me .. I have a mitsubishi vs4541 and accidentally it got reset to factory settings .. no the convergence that was slightly skew is now WAYYY off and I need to get into the advanced convergence utility .. any help would be GREATLY appreciated .. my Email is paintblr@cox.net .. This appears to be a major problem with Mitsubishi TVs. I have been doing research to document peoples problems with the projection tvs from mitsubishi.

I may be initiating a suit on behalf of purchasers so that Mitsubishi will provide assistance to its purchasers or provide replacement tvs. If anyone has any questions or wants to document their problem, please email me at projectiontvman@yahoo.com I will try to respond to you shortly.
