About a year ago, my 46" projection Philips tv would take a few seconds for picture to come on (sound has and stil is not a problem). A small glow on the left side would eventually grow bigger and pop on the picture. A few months ago, the picture would take a few minutes. Recently, about half an hour to come on. Once on, sometimes, as soon as I would switch channels or play DVD or video, the picture would shut off (still sound though). Now, when I turn on the tv, I get sound perfectly, but a small 6 inch glow on the middle left side. I know nothing about repairing tv, but would like to know (since Philips would charge me $ 100 just to show up at my house) if this could be the power supply or solder but what else could it be. I miss my tv !!!
