Thanks for the reply shadetree, after googling my problem I found a similar problem with the same 60" Projection. I followed the same instructions which was to disconnect the red lead wire going to the High Voltage Splitter, which was coming from what I believe may be the flyback, (unsure). I isolated the bare wire since it held up to 33,000 volts then plugged the tv back in and turned it on using the remote. It stated that if the tv turns on, mind you there will be no picture but I now had sound, and stays on then the HV Splitter needs to be replaced. The Proscan did indeed remain on with no arc as before. I will take your suggestions and wait to see whether other chime in with perhaps another suggestions. Thanks again.
