Samsung HCM4215W P55A Chassis 42" Rear Projection TV So I have a HCM4215W that my dad gave me to see if I can get it going. He parked it in the garage about a year ago when the convergence went, or so he says. I plugged it in and BAM everything is working perfect. HD inputs, Adjusting convergence and so on and so forth. So before I make it a permanent fixture in the living room I decided that I''m going tho test it. So I play about 6 hours of 1080i DVD's the first night and then about 4 more hours the next morning and no problems what so ever. So I thought it was good. I moved it into the living room. The kids loved it, started to watch some cartoons. About 20 minutes later the video goes out. My son said that when the picture went out the color's were all jacked up for about 3 sec and then no video at all but the sound was still there. I then moved the TV back into the bedroom and began to do my research. Been all over the forums reading what other peoples problems were and thier fixes. Now to the things I know about the TV. I have found that a tube has leaked some coolant onto the power board and now when I turn the TV on you here some sound for about a sec still no video and I hear the board reboot or what I might be assuming a reboot, I hear 2 clicks from the board and then the sound for a sec then repeat. Just like what happen here http://www.tv-forums.com/cgi-bin/gforum.cgi?post=40755;search_string=HCM4215W;#40755 Exactly the same thing I pulled the board and cleaned it off, there was a fair amount of coolant on the left rear quarter, if you were to cut the board into 4 squares, on the board. Reinstalled the board after plenty of time to dry, kept my fingers crossed and plugged it back in. No change at all. Same sound for a sec still no video then reboot and repeat. Am I to assume that the power board is bad? I know that the tube needs to be sealed. Would that be all? I'm armed with a multi-meter and a soldering iron if anyone has some schematic's or test procedures so I can narrow this problem down to a faulty chip or bad board. I mean ANYTHING, any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Brian
