With that Philips model I would look for bad solder connections all around the area of the convergence ICs as well as plugs that connect to that board coming from other boards. I've repaired many of these sets and they nearly all had poor solder connections somewhere instead of the ICs. A few more things, when you changed the coolant did you remove the yokes? Did you get the yoke plugs and convergence plugs back in the correct spot? If you decide to test resistors, it's best to de-solder one end to get a more accurate reading (this way you are not checking them in circuit; often other components connected to the resistors can cause false readings) Then use an ohm meter -- Dan ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If you (or anyone reading this post) have any further questions or need clarification please feel free to contact me direct; you can find my email address by clicking on my user-name.
