Toshiba 50H81 Can't Post

I have been having problems recently, when the set is powered up for the first few minutes or so the picture is some what wavey, it appears to be from side to side. One week ago while watching, the set went completely black, no audio either, front led was blinking. Replaced the two convergance ic's and now have picture and audio however again for the first 5 - 10 minutes the picture is extremely wavey untils the set warms up, then the picture quality becomes quite good. Is this still a convergance problem? Will accessing the service mode from the remote correct this problem at power up or is this a completely different problem.

Thanks for any advice in advance!

Re: [CraigA] Toshiba 50H81 [In reply to] Can't Post

I have the same exact problem except it is only when I use all other inputs besides the first High Def input, that one is always crystal clear. So it is only on the s-video and rca inputs. Please help.

Replace Hyper Module p/n 23786198 or:
(Hyper Module can be repaired by replacing ALL 10uF/16VDC capacitors on Module. There should be eleven of them)
This is a very common failure with this model, so this is most likely the problem but could also be a bad filter capacitor in the power supply circuit .
