it happened again.....why??JVC Can't Post

It has happened again. My JVC HD-52G657 needs to replace the lamp again.... I called them but did not get answer to my satisfaction. They can't even give us an idea of how long it will take to get on again

The picture is creating problem but its still working. Is it ok to get on with this dying lamp or to buy a new one?

I have replaced just before 4 months. Should I go for a claim?

I know JVC is supposed to be a good brand, but they are not giving us any satisfaction when we call them.

Please do help us in finding out what to do? And from where can I get a new guaranteed an of excellent quality lamp for my LCD?

I don't want to bear this situation again.

thanks

for the lamp to fail again so soon you need to check the cooling fan is working and any filters are not blocked with fluff.what do you mean by"is it ok to get on with this dying lamp"? these lamps don't last long anyway especially if the tv is on 24/7. BTW what symptoms do you have to suspect the lamp?

What's wrong with it that you think you need a lamp?

Donalld!
isn't it so soon to replace the lamp?

I think you must check and clean the air filters before going to replace the lamp.
Try to take the lamp out and re-seat it then see what happens?

How to extend the Lamp Life

You did not mention the exact problem yet. well, there are many issues regarding lamp life.
It also depends for how many hours are you switching the Tv on?

Tell the problem so that it could be easy to fix it.
Good Luck!

I suggest you to call the tech person. Try to take out the lamp and re-seat it. Clean the air-filters.

If still don't work then
Try this JVC replcement Lamp. Its of $160 only.

It would be better to replace the lamp instead of getting on with the dying lamp.
Just go for some original branded lamp so that you could not face the same problem soon.
