i have a zenith pv4661rk and every once in a while the convergence would go out , so i did what anyone would do. i hit it on the side, well that only worked for about a year. now a hammer to it wont work. the red is bowed down on the top and up on the bottom . but the bow isnt quite centered. it is off to the left, just a little bit. im sure this is pretty common . but i am kind of new to this so any help would be appreciated.i have tried all of the red adjustments but no good. could it be the magnetic ring around the red crt?i doubt its that simple. i will go hit it again just for fun.

Smakin set dont fix sets, all that does is temparly fix a cold or broken solder joint, sound like the convergance ic are unsoldered a bit, and cuz this problem is now over a year old the Ic's may be shot, you should have these replaced and the rest of the high voltage areas resoldered to prefent other problems from creeping up
