samsung hc-p4741w Can't Post

hi there i bought that broken samsung projection tv model hc-4741w for about 100$ now .
-It had a defective power switch (on/off button in front of tv) that i remove myself and it made it work properly (sometime it just didnt want to turn on). that is fine with me
-there a line in the middle of the screen it looks like a line made with a paint brush : after openning the cover i realize it has that same line on top of the blue projector. i open it thinkin it was only like a dust or something (Piratebut i realize theres liquid in that tubePirate). so i guess i have to change the whole tube ? and now it doesnt want to turn on it just does the sound eeeeeeeeeeeee for 2 sec than the red light in front start flashing.
if you guys can help just do it ! lol

The line is most likely caused by bad coolant. If you remove the blue lense (4 screws) to take a closer look...it's suppose to be clear, but if its like my hcp4241 was it was dirty and crudded up. I had to replace the coolant fluid in each crt. You can order the fluid and do it yourself. As for the no power problem....maybe convergence IC's? If you look at the post here you may get a tip on how to check if they are bad by disconnected power going to them.

You removed the wrong part. Coolant on boards they say is very bad....very conductive. The lense sits on top of the part you removed. Thats why you should always read as much as you can to make sure you are doing the right thing. There are posts here on how you can try and clean that board, it may or may not work. I am sorry you have done this but I had hoped you would have read more before jumping into reparing it. Was it a lot of coolant? If its not a lot you may be able to clean it up.

Do you mean the whole crt? I did not remove mine all the way. About halfway...by disconnecting almost all the connectors. Look at the post here on replacing crt coolant and you will get more guidance and some different pics.
