sound Can't Post

I just bought a Toshiba TV Mod.# 56HM66. It's in a large room with another TV. I sometimes have them both on and when I do the sound is not synchronized, an echo effect takes place. Is there something I can do to stop this?

Thank you

no ,in a word .why on earth would anyone have two tv's on in the same room?the sound is delayed on the digital processed tv so its not in front of the vision.this is not happening on the other tv which is probably analogue

<why on earth would anyone have two tv's on in the same room?> First it's a large open area of 'Living', Dining' & 'Kitchen'. The division of sound on the two sets is just right. Having only sound on one set the volume would be overwhelming for one group watching set #1 and too low for the other group watching set #2. With the older TV's I had no problem.

you either have to have two digital tv's,(same model) or two analogue tv's if you want to do this

Dude you have a bigger problem. That HM66 model has bulliten on a manatory light engine replacement. The mounting bracket that holds the LCDs warps and you get a black bar that starts at the top and works its way down. 1 Year parts and labor. I think you can go to Tosh. web site and input your serial #.

Can you tell me where you got your information so I can follow up on it?
Thank you

I'm a Technician with Rent-Center which in cause has me repair all brands on the market. Toshibia issued a bulliten on this matter with the HM66 production line. If you give me a serial # I can check against our website's data base. I have done 50+ of these units and you will need to act before warranty runs out. I will also check and see if your set qualifies for extended lamp warranty to 18 months instead of 12.

Good news your TV is good. I have attached a file to this email with the Toshiba bulletens on the light engine issue and also I found a firmware update issue for your tv as well. Sorry the lamp warranty is on the HM95 series only. Good luck with that TV.
