i have never removed main chassis.when i serviced televisions i removed many chassis's.

i found problems with cold solder joints,and have to replace convergence amps. also a leakey diode.the question is about the hv anode leads.when i had my repair business i would discharge picture to ground,before removeing anode.any way i think it would be easier to take chassis out to do the work i have to do. with the 3 anode leads how if it can be done can i do this?

I was able to fix without chassis removal,a little hard when you are 67.

i found cold solder connection at the IK04 IC.and replaced leaky D611,and replaced convergence amp IK04. set is normal.
