MAGNAVOX SVIDEO PROBLEM	Can't Post

I have a Magnavox color TV model MS53250C that works fine except you loose the audio when you connect the DVD player to the set with the Svideo plug, if you connect the DVD with the phone jack set-up (Audio L/R and video out) everything is OK.. Why am I am loosing the audio with the Svideo cable hook up?/??

S-Video only transmits video, you still need to hook the audio up,
