XBR-65X900E Repair Help

My Sony XBR-65X900E died about 8 weeks ago and I have been on a mission trying to repair it. The first thing I did was order and replace the main board. Thankfully, this solved the problem. The TV turned on with blinking red and amber lights I believe, and I was able to flash it with the new firmware. After going through the setup I was able to complete the setup on the TV. I turned it off and when I came back to power it on, it didn't work. I asked the seller who sold me the board and he suggested I replace the cables since they tend to go bad, which I did, no change. Long story short, I have replaced EVERY single board (power board, TCON, LCD board) all cables, and I still can not get this TV to work. One of the symptoms that has persisted throughout is that if I disconnect one of the ribbon connections from the LCD board to the main board, the TV does power on, but I just get a black screen with intermittent flashing once I connect the two boards, there is no powering on (however I do here a slight hum and cycling going on even though there is no image. I do not know what else could be going on except that I could still have a bad board? It worked initially, but could it have shorted somehow? I did order a third main board which came with the other components, but I still have the same symptoms as mentioned above. I have already spent $120 on all the components and do not want to spend anymore if I am unable to fix it. I am just bummed since the TV is only 2 years old.
