Two problems with my Symphonic DVD/VCR combo player: VCR doesn't always record when programmed. Program information will appear on the screen but the VCR is not recording even though the VCR set button was pressed. 2nd problem: closed captions don't appear on tapes recorded on the Symphonic. Anyone else have this problem with a Symphonic or Sylvania DVD/VCR? DVD works great.
