Sometimes the plastic pieces (ie. inside the front panel) have a 'clock' or 'grid' with at least a year & month 'ticked'. Some parts may have date codes usually consisting of the year & week part was manufactured. I've had some luck with Sharp motor labels. Finally you can find the year in the serial number of many units. Some are out in the open, some will use a simple number/letter 'code.' There may even be a date code on the front or rear cover of that Owner's Manual. One or more of these should at least get you in the ballpark. ------------------------- Location: Far, Far Away
