emerson tv/vcr	Can't Post

i have a emerson tv/vcr model # EWC1301 . when playing a tape and then pressing stop and then pressing rewind the tv takes a second and then shut's off. but when i press rewind from the playing mode it rewinds just fine. could it be the mode switch ? any suggestions would be appreciated.

i'm answering my own question. took out the mode switch gave it a good cleaning and everything works the way it should. i'll be closing this post now . Wink
