shelbydogg;.....

As long as you don't delete the pix , they'll remain there & where ever you post them foooorrrrreeeevvvveeerrrr !!!!....Sly....

Quote
I didn't see a difference between your image and mine. They were both gone.

HUh ???....
Don't quite know what you mean here....
I'll clarify mine tho....

Quote
Then I will go back to photobucket & delete the image there & see what happens here....

What I think will happen is one OR both images WILL change to the original default pix....
However , I have a strong feeling that the copy & paste image will remain since the "IMG Code" will be gone....

We'll see....Wink....

This refers to how you put your pix into your computer....NOT photobucket !!!!...
This refers to what did you use ON your computer....Paint, Open Office or what ???...

Quote
If you know , how many megapixels ???... 2Meg

This explains why you wont get too high a resolution when you enlarge the pix....
Do not worry about clarity in the pix when you enlarge them....
We're not looking for atoms here....Molecules , maybe....Sly....

My computer is acting strange...
Give me a few hours as I'm putting together a more detailed set of info for this problem;=>....

RE:...

Go to photobucket & locate your pix....

Should look something like this;=>....

That's the red arrow you start with....
When you click on Edit , you get this;=>...

When you click on Resize you get this;=>....

Then use the blue arrow slider to get the size you want...
The size here will be approximately what will appear in your post....
Then click on "Replace Original"....
Then this comes up;=>...

Then all you do is put your mouse anywhere in the pix , right click mouse , click on copy , go to post & click on paste.....Ta-Da !!!...

Sounds a lot more complicated than it actually is....

Try it & lets see if it works this time....
Post all pix you have for this problem....

THANKS....Smile....

Good luck....Wink....

I'm not exactly sure how it work but here is the first picture , what I'm trying to show here is color separation and it maybe seen it at the right side of the tv screen

the next picture shows the tv screen bowing on the sides..

sorry if the pictures are to big (640x480)...... One thing that I notice is that if you resize a picture you can only down sized ...
There I did it Sly it only took me till 2am to figure it out !

IF you used the slider I showed you , you could have made them bigger....
BUT , you have to "Replace Original"....Your pix size is perfect !!!!

Now on to the problem;....

The pix have a LOT of glare (From either room light &/OR the camera's flash) & it's hard to see what you mean....
SOOoo , before I ask you for new pix , let's do this;....
Go into the "convergence menu & try to adjust the crosses....
You most likely won't see the blue , but try anyway....
Turn off ALL the room lights & squint !!!...Wink....
Then do the red convergence....
What I need to know is if the crosses for the red move up & down , left & right...
Same thing with the blue crosses IF you can see them.....

GOOD LUCK.....Sly....

yes, I'm able to move the cross hear up/down ... the red and blue... you are right is the flash..
Now, the blank space up/down of the screen is because I was playing a movie and the format is as you see it in the screen......but if you play regular tv the picture fills the whole tv except for sides which bows..
What next...

Re: [gervey] Projection Picture problems [In reply to] Can't Post

I'm having same kinda problem from what i see in his picture. Hopefully the problem he has and find fix for will be the same as mine.

My chassis is PTV710-AH01, Model FP4640 W104. Made 1995
My model doesn't have The STK chips It has a digital convergence board, I can get picture if needed so you can see.

So his model might not have the STK Chips neither.

gervey;.....

I need GOOD , CLEAR , pix of the 2 areas shown below....
Use a signal source that gives you full screen pix from top to bottom....NO Letterbox stuff.....
I reaslize that the pix ON the TV will not be too clear , but , I want a clear pix of what YOU see...
IF any of that makes any sense ????....Unsure....
Try to keep the flash out of the area you're photographing....
Use "Preview Post" before you "Post Reply" to make sure the pix will show up OK in the thread.....OK....Thanks....

See ya Fri.....

THANK you for those GREAT pix.....Sly.....GOOD JOB !!!.....Sly....
Questions;....
Does the pix on the TV fill the TV screen fully from top to bottom ???...
No black gaps at the top or bottom ....

Under where it says this in your post:=>...

Quote
and the following 3 pix (Actually 4 pix) shown how the picture looks

The pix on the TV actually looks slanted , maybe even slightly curved , at the top & a bit at the bottom....
Especially in the 2nd & 3rd pix....
Does it slant like that on the TV when you are looking at it ????...

jts1957;...

Kind sir;....

If you take a closer look at the pix , there's the possibility that he "may" have a pix shrunk on ALL 4 sides , indicating another type of problem....
With ALL due respect , re-read my last post questions & you'll see what I mean....
A side-pincushion problem does not (At least in my book o' learnin) slant , curve or shrink the top &/or bottom of the video....
Correct me , please , IF I'm wrong .....
Not trying to be argumentive with you , just want to be SURE about his problem....

All the baseball pix look like fill top to bottom. Slant is most likely camera/phone being at angle.

A little more room light so we could see edges of the front panel/screen would be nice.

I hope I can clarify the problem with the next 3 pix .... most likely the camera is of angle but up/down part of the screen are not bow it is just the sides....

I hope these are better..... Sly
