yes, every input. the crt's ony work in menu mode. blue sometimes stays on.

yes, all inputs give me no picture. in menu mode the crt's are all on. when i exit the menu they turn off. blue stays on for a little bit.

PIP seems to work. when i activate it i can see two input screens. (e.g.) i can see Ant A being displayed in two parts of the screen

I assume there is audio.

Many a bad PIP module. Try bypassing.

On the VP connector, after you remove the PIP module, solder two 47 ufd caps, one negative to pin 11 positive to pin 5, the other negative to pin 9 and positive to pin 7.

Hey, jts, im working on the hitachi again and i have determined that there is no power crossing to the video board. Any other ideas? Thanks.
